Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Southern Vipers To Take On South East Stars In Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy Eliminator

The Vipers will take part in Wednesday’s semi-final eliminator at Beckenham for a chance to face Northern Diamonds in Sunday’s final at Lord’s

Following the weekend’s conclusion of the group stage – and courtesy of their third-place finish - Southern Vipers have qualified for the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-final eliminator where they will take on South East Stars.

The match – which starts at 10:30am - is to be played at Beckenham tomorrow (Wednesday 21st September) with the winner going on to face Northern Diamonds in the final at Lord’s on Sunday 25^th September.

Georgia Adams’ side, who have won the competition in both of the last two years, will be boosted by the news that Maia Bouchier is available for the semi-final clash, despite being selected in England Women's ODI squad for the upcoming Royal London Series against India.
