Stress-Free & Direct Travel Is Back For Hampshire’s Home Vitality Blast Matches
Vitality Blast lands at the The Ageas Bowl in less than two weeks’ time, with Hampshire welcoming Glamorgan in the action-packed competition on Friday 6th July.
In an effort to make this summer’s Vitality Blast as accessible as possible, Hampshire Cricket are pleased to reintroduce the Blast Bus Service, which offers stress-free and direct travel to and from the The Ageas Bowl via four popular routes, with a number of popular stops en-route.
The service departsfrom four routes on all Vitality Blast matchdays: Southampton, Eastleigh, Winchester and Warsash, and arrive well ahead of the first ball being bowled to ensure there’s plenty of time to enjoy all the off-field activities and entertainment available at the home of Hampshire Cricket. The Buses then depart from the The Ageas Bowl 20 minutes after the close of play, along the same routes and to the same drop off points.
A number of hand-picked bars have partnered with Hampshire Cricket for the 2018 Vitality Blast, each of which are selling combined Match & Bus tickets to all seven The Ageas Bowl fixtures for those who have not yet secured their seat for the T20 action.
What’s more, those with tickets for the Blast Bus are able to enjoy a free pint or soft drink at a partner bar of their choice, upon showing a valid ticket on return to their bar after the Vitality Blast match.
Tickets for 2018’s Blast Bus are available to purchase from the The Ageas Bowl Ticket Office for just £5, and can be purchased online, or by contacting the The Ageas Bowl’s Ticketing Team on 02380 472 002 (Opt. 2) or via [email protected].
Alternatively, you can secure your match & bus package ticket at a discounted rate from one of the eight partner bars!
Hampshire's clutch duo Ben Mayes (highest run-scorer) and Manny Lumsden (highest wicket-taker) have been named in the ICC Under-19 World Cup Team of the Tournament, selected by Ian Bishop, Lydia Greenway, Andy Flower and Telford Vice
The 10th edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup gets underway on 7 February, with Pakistan facing the Netherlands in the opening fixture. The tournament will be hosted across India and Sri Lanka, with the final set to take place on 8 March.
