Australian Duo Neser And Lehmann Join Hampshire For 2026
Australian all-rounder Michael Neser and batter Jake Lehmann join Hampshire for the 2026 season
To mark #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek Hampshire Cricket Board are launching the #HantsCricketChallenge designed to keep children and families active during lockdown.
With the help of Coach Ryan and the lovely children at Pennington Infant School in Lymington we recorded a series of challenges linked to throwing, batting and catching. We want to see you get involved with your classmates or at home with grown ups or siblings. There are also individual tasks for you to try to beat your own Personal Best! The challenges are all about having fun, getting active and trying something new.
We want to see you get as creative as possible with your targets (think stumps drawn on the garage wall, a line of stuffed toys, a row of pens balanced on their ends etc), how you keep the ball in the air (with hats, shoes, or even a piece of train track) or even getting into some fancy dress for the occasion.
Whilst we understand the need the for winners in traditional competitions this challenge is all about getting EVERYONE active and having fun so rather than points mean prizes we want to reward those have been the most creative, had lots of fun and generally given all 3 challenges a good go.
To enter yourself or your school please share your best videos and photos;
