The two-year fully funded programme will give students the opportunity to obtain a BTEC Level 3 Sports Diploma (equivalent to three A Levels) whilst offering further opportunities to work alongside professional sporting staff and gain coaching qualifications.
Targeted at talented local athletes, the programme will give students access to the world class facilities and coaching at the The Ageas Bowl whilst gaining skills and experience from all aspects of a professional cricket club.
This is a brilliant opportunity for us to further utilise the fantastic facilities and coaching staff we have here at the The Ageas Bowl. We have a rich history in developing talented cricketers for the professional game and we are confident the new boxing centre will compliment perfectly the work of our Poseidon Amateur Boxing Club
