The 2024 season is just around the corner and tickets have now gone on general sale for all of Southern Vipers’ regional fixtures – take a look below to find out.
Charlotte Edwards Cup
Southern Vipers’ 2023 Charlotte Edwards Cup campaign was one to remember, with two double headers alongside Hampshire Hawks at Utilita Bowl on the way to the Vipers reaching a third CEC Finals Day.
A resounding win in the eliminator followed by a rain-affected final against The Blaze as the cricket spilled into a reserve day saw the Vipers lift ‘Little Lottie’ for the second year running.
Georgia Adams’ side will once again host three home fixtures at Utilita Bowl in this year's edition of the Charlotte Edwards Cup, opening the tournament on the afternoon of Saturday 18th May against last year’s finalists, The Blaze.
Following this they will play two double headers with Hampshire Hawks on 30th May and 14th June, with two trips across the Sussex border to Arundel Castle on 27th May and the 1st Central County Ground to conclude the group stage on 19th June.
Regaining trophy in 2023 to complete their third RHFT title, the Vipers will be looking to round off the 2024 season with both pieces of silverware back at the Snake Pit.
A squad effort in 2023, with 19 players in total used across the RHFT season, the Vipers rose from the middle of the table to sneak into first place by the end of September, culminating in an exciting final at Northampton, where Emily Windsor repeated her heroics of 2021 at the same ground by smashing a four to win the match, and the trophy.
The Vipers’ first match at Utilita Bowl is against Northern Diamonds on 27th April, with the season rounding off at the Snake Pit on 7th September.
The double champions will also visit Wormsley on 24th April and 1st May, with a second visit to Falkland CC, Newbury on 10th July.
The seaside beckons with a visit to Hove on 30th June against Western Storm, and Arundel Castle will host The Blaze on 26th August.
