Hampshire Confirm Men’s Coaching Appointments
Russell Domingo has been named as men’s Head Coach on a two-year deal across all formats with Shane Burger appointed Bowling Coach
Hampshire wicket keeper-batsman Tom Alsop has swapped a stint overseas for helping a homeless charity this winter.
With COVID-19 distrupting the plans of several players with intentions to work on their game in the southern hemisphere during the off-season, Hampshire's playing squad have been hard at work at the The Ageas Bowl.
And whilst continuing his development during the winter months, Tom Alsop has also been hard at work away from the game, partnering with local non-profit charity, Emmaus Hampshire.

The charity, which focuses on providing a home and meaningful work to homeless people, has a number of shops located across the county which help to raise funds for it's work with those in need.
As part of his work, Alsop has been spending his free time working in the charity's retail operations, voluntereing two days a week in its Winchester branch.
I’ve always wanted to do a bit more charity work and this winter, with everything going on in the world, it seemed like a good time to try.

I’ve been working in the stockroom, pricing things up, and on the shop floor, helping with whatever the companions who run the stores ask me to do.
I did a double-take when Tom’s application to volunteer came in via our website. We are always looking for younger volunteers to assist in our operations, particularly as many of our more senior helpers are doing what they can from home until the pandemic is over.
Nigel Samuels, Emmaus Hampshire Chief Executive
We are delighted that Tom has joined us to help us keep our donations flowing onto our shop floors.
