Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Two-Day Sussex Friendly Announced For Late July

Hampshire to face local rivals Sussex in a two-day friendly at Hove on Monday 27th & Tuesday 28th July

Hampshire will make the short trip down the A27 later this month to face local-rivals Sussex in a two-day friendly at The 1st Central County Ground, Hove as preparations continue ahead of the 2020 domestic season's scheduled start of 1st August.

The red-ball match, to be contested across Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th July will be played behind-closed-doors but Sussex are hoping to be in a position to stream the match across their digital channels, links to which we'll share ahead of the match.

It's great to get going and everyone is looking forward to the trip to Hove. Historically, Sussex have hosted us for a preseason friendly in March and we're pleased it's the match to kick off the 2020 season as it's a fixture we always look forward to.
