Utilita Bowl, the home of Hampshire Cricket, has announced a landmark multi-year partnership with SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, leading waste and resources company.
The three-year partnership forms a significant step forward in Utilita Bowl’s ambitions to become the world’s greenest cricket ground.
The partnership will see a new waste and recycling system integrated across the Utilita Bowl site, and SUEZ will send representatives to the England vs West Indies MIT20 to provide educational tips, and advice regarding how to use the new system.
SUEZ pioneers sustainable solutions and innovative technologies for the UK’s circular economy, encouraging their customers to recognise the value in materials they throw away and to recycle as much as possible, while helping organisations reduce their environmental impact and the cost of disposing of their waste.
At Utilita Bowl, we have an ambitious strategy to become a truly sustainable sports stadium, and we’re excited to be taking the next step on our journey with SUEZ.
