Lauren Bell, Maia Bouchier, Charlie Dean, Freya Kemp, and Danni Wyatt have all been selected in England Women’s squads for their white ball series against Sri Lanka
Southern Vipers stars Lauren Bell, Maia Bouchier, Charlie Dean, Freya Kemp, and Danni Wyatt have all been selected in England Women’s Vitality IT20 squad to take on Sri Lanka in September.
Bell, Dean and Wyatt featured in the historic Women’s Ashes which saw record crowds across the series, as England fought back from 6-0 down to level the points-based series 8-8.
All-rounder Freya Kemp is set to make her international return after she suffered a stress fracture on England Women’s tour of the West Indies in December 2022.
The 18-year-old has thus far been playing as a specialist batter since making her return to competitive cricket in May, scoring a Vipers-best of 47 as she helped the Vipers defeat Western Storm by four wickets at Millfield School.
Fast bowler Bell, all-rounder Dean, and batter Bouchier will remain with England for the ODI leg of the tour.
