Hampshire Hawks Confirm 2026 Vitality Blast Fixtures
Utilita Bowl will host seven Vitality Blast matchdays in 2026, including five double headers, starting on Tuesday 26th May
Four Southern Vipers will feature in the Women’s European Cricket Championship in Spain.
Millie Taylor, Chiara Green, Megan Sturge, and Daisy Gibb will play for England against Spain, Austria, Italy, and The Netherlands from 17-22 December.
The squad will also be led by Southern Vipers Regional Talent Manager and former England batter Beth Morgan.
Taylor, Sturge, and Gibb are all enrolled in the Southern Vipers Academy, whilst Green, 30, took seven wickets with a best of 4-20 in the 2023 South Central Counties Cup for Sussex.
The matches will take place at the Cartama Oval in Malaga and will be T10 format, with England’s first match against Austria taking place on 17 December, before two matches on 18 December against Italy and the Netherlands.
A men’s England XI won the 2023 European Cricket Championship in October featuring non-professional National Counties players.

It is so exciting to be able to take a women's team to Spain to participate in the first tournament of its kind. In the past three years, the boys who participated in the ECC gained significant experience and exposure, which helped them progress in their cricket careers. I believe these extremely talented female cricketers will have a similar experience and exposure that will help them grow in their careers.
Richard Logan, England Women ECC Team Manager
