Vitality Blast 2021 Biggest Hits Poll Winner Announced

Wicketkeeper batter Lewis McManus has won the poll for the biggest hit of last year’s Vitality Blast.

McManus took 43% of the vote with his massive strike off Will Beer in the away leg of ‘el clasicoast’ at Hove.

The destructive ‘keeper, who scored 199 runs whilst striking at 140.14, launched the Sussex leg spinner over long on and nearly over the pavilion.

Joe Weatherley took second spot with 27% of the fans’ votes.

His trademark sweep shot off was off another Sussex bowler, this time it was England’s Ollie Robinson on the receiving end of some tap in ‘el clasicoast’ at The Ageas Bowl.

James Fuller’s strike against Roelof van der Merwe in the semi-final was voted third with 13%.

The Somerset spinner’s full toss got the treatment from Fozzie as the ball found itself sailing 20 rows back into the stands.

Liam Dawson’s straight hit over Tymal Mills' head takes fourth position with 10%, and Colin de Grandhomme’s audacious pull shot against Lewis Gregory rounds off the poll with 7%.
