2022 Vitality Blast champions Hampshire Hawks begin their 2023 T20 campaign at Taunton against Somerset on Wednesday 24th May.
We are counting down the days until the Hawks’ title defence begins and today marks 14 days until then. The Hawks' number 14 and skipper, James Vince, produced a crucial run out in last year's dramatic Vitality Blast final against Lancashire Lightning at Edgbaston.
With the final ball of the penultimate over, Vince ran out Luke Wells with a pinpoint throw at the stumps, which left the Lightning needing 11 more runs from the final six deliveires. Vince and his side would go on to lift the trophy in unforgettable circumstances.
