Vitality Blast Rewind: Fuller Carries Hawks To Unassailable Total
James Fuller's 45 proved crucial on a challenging pitch against Gloucestershire at The Ageas Bowl.

James Vince won the toss and elected to bat first on a warm summer evening at The Ageas Bowl.
Hampshire's batting innings seemed to be dead and buried as when Liam Dawson was dismissed from the last ball of the 17th over the Hawks only had 94 runs on the board.
James Fuller, who had already had a stellar campaign for the Hawks, was the savior on the night as his 45 from 24 balls could not be replecated by anyone else from either side.
Fuller hit a lofted drive over cover to open his boundary count, the only four in his innings.
It wasn't until the fourth ball of the 19th over when he hit his first maximum, a low full toss from Ryan Higgins was flicked with distain over the mid-wicket boundary.
He then followed suit the next ball, as Higgins dragged one down which Fuller gleefully pounced on and dispatched it over the rope.
The start of the 20th over was more of the same as David Payne gifted a nice half-volley which Fuller put into the crowd over long off.
Fuller saved his best for last however, creaming a length delivery over the extra-cover boundary for a giant six and pushing the Hawks to what seemed to be an unlikely score of 140.
