Find out more about the five players in the running below.

Liam Dawson

It was another performance to remember for Dawson as the all-rounder shone with both bat and ball. In the Spitfires innings, he took 2-28 from his four overs, taking the wickets of Sam Billings and Joe Denly in the same over. He then came into bat in the penultimate over and made a quickfire nine from four balls. His maximum from the fourth ball of the final over levelled the scores, before he scored the winning run with the next ball.

James Fuller

Fuller was another to make an impact in both innings. Following a very strong start with the bat for the Spitfires, the all-rounder took the wickets of Daniel Bell-Drummond and Tawanda Muyeye with consecutive balls at the end of the powerplay to give the Hawks bowling attack lift off. He then came in to bat with the Hawks struggling on 83/4 but made a sensational 30 off 16 balls, including three sixes in a row to set up the comeback victory.

Benny Howell

Similarly to Dawson and Fuller, Howell too played his part in all aspects of the game. The 35-year-old bowled four overs, taking 2-27, which included the wicket of England's Zak Crawley. He then provided a huge moment with the bat, hitting a magnificent six down the ground with the final ball of the 19th over. That left the Hawks needing nine runs from the final over for victory.

Joe Weatherley

After a solid start against Surrey, Weatherley continued to impress at four in the Hawks batting line-up. He made the highest score of the match with an important 49 runs from 32 balls with six fours. Despite missing out on a half-century, his innings was crucial in giving his side a chance at chasing down the Spitfires total.

Chris Wood

Wood was at his economical best against the Spitfires. Their opening pair made an explosive start but the 33-year-old was the only bowler to stem the flow of runs with his first two overs going for just five runs. He then came back on for the death overs and finished with figures of 2-19, with an eye-catching economy rate of just 4.75.
