Australian Duo Neser And Lehmann Join Hampshire For 2026
Australian all-rounder Michael Neser and batter Jake Lehmann join Hampshire for the 2026 season
Hampshire batsman Joe Weatherley has returned to the club after being recalled from his loan spell at Kent.
The 20-year-old returned to Hampshire this week and has rejoined the squad following unfortunate injuries to a number of first-team players.
Earlier this year, the right-hander penned a new deal keeping him at the The Ageas Bowl until at least the end of the 2019 season.
Weatherley is a product of Hampshire’s youth set-up having represented the county from an early age and the right-hander has also featured prominently for England at age-group level, having captained England U19s back in 2015.
The top-order batsman has made a total of nine appearances for the club so far in his career.
