Hampshire’s Pre-Season Calendar Confirmed
Hampshire’s men and women will be going on tour in March with trips to Stellenbosch and Desert Springs, and five warm up matches
The month of March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and longstanding Hampshire Cricket Member, Wendy Hayes, is attempting to walk a marathon every week to raise awareness and funds for Ovacome – the UK’s national ovarian cancer support charity.
Wendy was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in December 2019 and Ovacome were able to provide her with the most up-to-date information on treatment, research and care, as well as expert support on the disease.

Now she is trying to make a difference to those affected by ovarian cancer and give something back to Ovacome with her walking fundraiser.
So far, in both her first and second weeks, Wendy has smashed her target walking 32.56 miles and 43.47 miles respectively.
Ovacome have supported me over the last 2 years, especially during lockdown, with on-line zoom meetings and activities, as well as support for my husband and I, and have made a big difference by giving us a positive mental outlook.
