Wyatt Named In ICC T20i Team Of The Year

Southern Vipers batter Danni Wyatt has been named in the ICC Women’s T20i team of the year.

Wyatt enjoyed a stellar year for England, scoring 252 runs in nine matches at the top of the order, with an average of 31 and exceptional strike rate of 133.

The powerful right hander joins fellow Southern Brave players Smriti Mandhana and Gaby Lewis in the select eleven.

Four more English players are recognised for their outstanding performances during 2021; Tammy Beaumont, Nat Sciver, Amy Jones and Sophie Ecclestone all had excellent years in the shortest format of the game.

England played in nine T20 internationals in 2021, against New Zealand and India, and were victorious in seven out of the nine fixtures.
