Young Lions Call-Up For Jack & Kelly

Hampshire’s Eddie Jack and Dom Kelly have been named in England Under-19s squad for the upcoming Youth ODIs against Ireland and Australia

Hampshire pair Eddie Jack and Dom Kelly have been named in England Under-19s 16-player squad for their upcoming Youth ODIs against Ireland and Australia later this month.

The Young Lions will play Ireland U19s in two Youth ODIs before hosting Australia U19s in a five-match ODI series.

Durham batter Ben McKinney will captain the squad after he led the Young Lions’ white-ball team in Australia last winter.

Following the ODI series, England and Australia will go head-to-head in two Youth Tests and the squad for these matches will be announced later this month.

It’s an exciting six months for the Young Lions starting with a home series against Australia followed by a tour to India and a World Cup in January.

We toured Australia last winter and it is great to be able for us to compete with them again this summer. There are several new faces in this squad which will add to that excitement in having the opportunity play against their peers from down under.
