Dom Kelly is a left-handed batter and right-arm medium-fast bowler
He was born in Winchester, Hampshire and is a product of Hampshire’s highly successful youth system.
After playing regularly for Hampshire’s under-18s and second XI, Kelly’s maiden appearance in the first team came in the One-Day Cup in August of 2023.
Taking on Middlesex, Kelly’s first wicket was former England international Sam Robson for 21, as Hampshire won by 18 runs on DLS.
He would play five further times, taking four more wickets in the group stages as Hampshire finished runners-up.

Kelly featured regularly for the England Under 19s against Australia. In four ODIs, he made 104 runs with a top score of 50*, and took eight wickets at 19.62, the highlight 4-27 in the match three.
He also played in both test matches, scoring 172 runs from three innings with two half-centuries (74 and 88* both scored in the same game) and taking five wickets.
Into 2024, Kelly played three times at the Under 19s World Cup for England, taking two wickets.
Kelly was a regular for Hampshire in the One Day Cup during the summer of 2024, playing eight times, scoring 174 runs and taking 10 wickets.
His best figures, 5-19 against Derbyshire, were not only a career-best, but he became the youngest Hampshire player to take a hattrick, the first for the club since 2022 and the first in List A cricket since the great Malcolm Marshall in 1981.

Kelly featured four times for Hampshire in 2025, with a maiden County Championship appearance coming against Worcestershire at Utilita Bowl.
On a difficult pitch for the bowlers, Kelly picked up his first Championship wicket in Adam Hose as he edged to short third man.
He then played in three Metro Bank One Day Cup matches and claimed five wickets as Hampshire reached a second final at Trent Bridge in three years.
