Over 130 years of county rivalry in one competition. Rothesay County Championship is for cricket's connoisseurs as 18 first-class counties contest in first-class cricket, the 'traditional' county four-day format.
Hampshire have won two County Championships in the past (1961 & 1973) and compete in Division One of the Rothesay County Championship.
Hampshire contest in Division One of the Rothesay County Championship for the 2026 season and will host Essex at Utilita Bowl for the opening match, starting Friday 3 April.
The Rose and Crown will host promoted Glamorgan in the first week of May, and it will be only the seventh time the Welsh side will have visited the south coast this century.
Hampshire then end the season as they host local rivals Sussex on Thursday 24 September.
