Metro Bank One Day Cup
The Metro Bank One Day Cup is a 50-over competition and is cricket’s original cup competition.
The competition perfectly balances the intricacies of the longer format of the game and the thrills and spills of the T20 format. It also provides fans with a great opportunity to watch Hampshire’s future stars, offering a lot of opportunities to younger players.
In 2025, Hampshire Men and Women both made it through to the final stages of the competition where dramatic losses to Worcestershire Rapids and Lancashire (respectively) saw their tournaments come to a close.
Hampshire Fixtures
The 2025 Metro Bank One Day Cup saw Nick Gubbin lead the charge with over 700 runs in the competition when club legend Jimmy Adams took over the reins as Head Coach. For the second time in three years, Hampshire Men reached the final.
Heading into 2026, The Rose and Crown travel to Scarborough to face Yorkshire in a repeat of the 2025 semi-final before an opening home match against Middlesex on Friday 24 July.
