Robin Smith – Hampshire’s most-loved hero – returns to the Utilita Bowl this June to celebrate the official launch of his autobiography, ‘The Judge: More Than Just A Game’.
The evening event will take place within the elegant confines of the Ageas Ballroom, within the Hilton Southampton – Utilita Bowl on Thursday 13th June, with all proceeds of the evening being distributed to the Hampshire Cricket in the Community Charity. Along with a 2-course dinner and a copy of ‘The Judge’ book to keep on each seat, the stage will showcase cricketing stardom seeing Hampshire’s most prolific top order take to the microphone including: Robin Smith, Barry Richards, Gordon Greenidge and the county’s longest serving club captain as MC for the evening, Mark Nicholas, as they reflect upon stories within the book and take part in Q&A sessions.
What’s more, after featuring heavily in the book, one of England cricket’s greatest talents and personalities, Allan Lamb, will join as a special guest to join the four Hampshire legends on stage as well.

The launch will host a raffle, for the chance to win some fantastic items, and to close the evening there is an opportunity to have your book signed by the Judge himself.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm welcome from Mark Nicholas, with the dress code set as smart casual.
