Hampshire Junior Cricket Championships Management Committee

Express your interest and be part of the HJCC Management Committee

As part of the Hampshire Junior Cricket Championships, a 9-person management committee is being formed to oversee and run the Championships. This management committee will consist of 6 volunteers and 3 Hampshire Cricket Board staff, with each person having a role on the committee.

The volunteer roles include four Regional Representatives who will sit on the Management Committee. This will include one person from the Central, South East, North & West Hampshire areas within the county. These regional representatives will be the point of contact for questions/queries in relation to the HJCC from their area of the county. The volunteer roles also include a Safeguarding Officer and Diversity Lead positions. Once the management committee is formed, two of the volunteers will be elected as the management committee Chair and Vice-Chair.

On average, each volunteer will need to dedicate on average 2 hours of volunteer work per week. The management committee will meet a minimum of 4 times per year but may be required to meet more frequently than this as and when required – particularly within the early stages of 2024 as the first season of the Championships approaches. All management committee members have equal voting rights, with a volunteer majority required in all voting processes.

The following HCB staff will also sit on the management committee and are in post to support the running of the Championships: Matt Bradley (Competition Officer), Graham Dodsworth (Fixture Secretary), Mike Pollard (Women & Girls Lead).
