Abbott played in all three County Championship games for Hampshire this month, starting with Warwickshire's trip to The Ageas Bowl.
The match, which Hampshire won by eight wickets, saw Abbott record figures of 5-45 in the away side's first innings.
His best was yet to come though as they travelled to Cheltenham to take on Gloucestershire.
Having taken just one in their first innings, Abbott came to life in the second with a six-wicket haul, which included a hat-trick as he took out Miles Hammond, Zafar Gohar and Tom Price in consecutive balls.

His contribution was vital as the team went on to win by six wickets.
The bowler then topped off the month with yet another top performance with the ball against Yorkshire at Scarborough.
Abbott took ten wickets in the match - with six in their first innings and four in their second - to once again see Hampshire through for a seven wicket victory.
