Keeper-batter Joseph Eckland and all-rounder Daisy Mullan will leave Hampshire Cricket on the expiration of their contracts
Hampshire pace bowler Kyle Abbott has been nominated for the PCA’s (Professional Cricketer’s Association) Player of the Month award for May.
Abbott enjoyed a magnificent May taking 20 wickets at a staggering average of just 15.9, which included two five-wicket-hauls, earning him 132.94 MVP points.
The 37-year-old bowler picked up two Match MVP awards. The first coming against Nottinghamshire for match figures of 8-119 and a knock of 67 with the bat, securing 59.88 points.
The South African earned 50.7 points against Worcestershire, taking match figures of 8-91.
