Saturday 28-Sunday 29 March (11am start)
The 1st Central County Ground, Hove
Hampshire Men travel across the south coast to Hove as they play Sussex in a two-day friendly, their last pre-season fixture before the Rothesay County Championship.
Earlier this week, Ben Brown’s side played Gloucestershire in a two-dayer, with each side batting until tea with inclement weather bringing the match to a premature close.
Joe Weatherley made a composed half-century, supported by 38* from 18-year-old Ben Mayes, to go with his 61* against Middlesex last week.
Sonny Baker made his mark with the ball, taking 2-25, with wickets also from Kyle Abbott, Scott Currie, and Tom Prest.
