Jimmy Adams (100*) – Hampshire v Glamorgan, Twenty20 Cup, 1st July 2010
Hampshire’s 2010 T20 season was full of memorable moments and opening batter Jimmy Adams often had a part to play in them.
Adams, who had scored a century against Surrey earlier in the campaign, lost opening partner Michael Lumb on 33 before featuring in a stand of 90 alongside a young James Vince.
Even after Vince fell, Adams never lost momentum and helped his side to a score of 199 for 5 after their 20 overs with an unbeaten 100.
The destructive century came in just 61 deliveries – with a strike rate of 169.93 – as he struck 16 fours along the way.
Glamorgan never looked like chasing down the target and Hampshire recorded a comfortable 54-run victory.
