Hampshire Hawks Confirm 2026 Vitality Blast Fixtures
Utilita Bowl will host seven Vitality Blast matchdays in 2026, including five double headers, starting on Tuesday 26th May
Paul Prichard has been appointed as Head Coach of Hampshire Women, on an interim basis, until the end of the 2025 season.
Prichard joined the coaching staff at Utilita Bowl in 2022 and has worked as batting coach for Southern Vipers, the regional women’s team based at the ground, and on the men and boys’ pathway.
A former professional cricketer, Prichard carved out an illustrious career with Essex, where he played from 1982-2001.
He featured over 300 times in First-Class cricket, where he scored more than 16,000 runs, and played in 299 List A matches where he scored over 7,000 runs.
I feel honoured to accept the role of Interim Head Coach of Hampshire Women. Having worked alongside Charlotte Edwards for the past four years and knowing how the core values, culture and the cricketing ethos of the club that she put in place meant to her, it will be a privilege to continue to build on those. I very much look forward to continuing my work with a talented squad of players with a good blend of youth and experience alongside an excellent support staff.
