Presenting your End Of Season Award winners for 2025
Hampshire's Kyle Abbot was the mainstay of the 2025 End of Season Awards, as 10 players received trophies.
Hampshire trio Ella McCaughan, Rhianna Southby, and Linsey Smith have all been named in the Women’s Team of the Month for April by the Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA).
April saw three rounds of the Women’s Metro Bank One Day Cup, in which Hampshire remained unbeaten with two wins against Surrey and Lancashire, and a thrilling tie in the opening match against Warwickshire.
Opening batter McCaughan, 22, scored 211 runs with one fifty and a maiden century when she made an unbeaten 133 in Hampshire’s eight-wicket win against Lancashire at Southport.
Southby kicked off the season in style with 72 against Warwickshire along with a spectacular one-handed catch to dismiss Sterre Kalis, and claimed three stumpings at Southport.
Smith meanwhile has been the standout spinner of the season so far with eight wickets at an average of 16.12. She also boasts an economy rate of just 4.30 runs per over.
Hampshire Women are in action at Trent Bridge against The Blaze on Sunday 4th May before heading to Arundel Castle to take on Durham.
Hampshire Cricket Members and Women’s Season Ticket holders can access the match free of charge, whilst individual match tickets are available for £10 for adults and £5 for Under 17s.
