Metro Bank One Day Cup

The Metro Bank One Day Cup is a 50-over competition and is cricket’s original cup competition.

The competition perfectly balances the intricacies of the longer format of the game and the thrills and spills of the T20 format. It also provides fans with a great opportunity to watch Hampshire’s future stars, offering a lot of opportunities to younger players. In 2024, Hampshire made it through to the quarter final stages where a dramatic loss to Leicestershire saw their tournament come to a close.

2024 Fixtures

Hampshire hosted four home Metro Bank One Day Cup group stage fixtures at Utilita Bowl in 2024, finishing third in Group A.

Hampshire were victorious in all four home matches and attendees were treated to some sensational team and individual performances such as rising star: Dom Kelly's first five-fer that included a hat trick.

Nick Gubbins' side were narrowly defeated by Leicestershire Foxes in the Metro Bank One Day Cup quarter-final on Friday 16^th August.
