Walking Cricket

Walking Cricket is the sport you love, just played at a slower pace. It is perfect for people who are older, or less physically able, but who still want to enjoy the thrill of the game. Walking Cricket involves a team of six to eight players (three to four pairs), working as a team to score ‘runs’ and uses a softball throughout. We structure our sessions based on what the participants want at each hub, whether that be straight into a game or doing some skills beforehand, and welcome everyone to have their say, just remember, no running!

Most importantly, no prior experience or knowledge of the game is required, we welcome anyone who wants to give it a go so come and join your local hub to have FUN, get ACTIVE and be SOCIAL.

Thanks to funding from Hampshire Cricket Foundation and a partnership with Eastleigh Borough Council all our Walking Cricket sessions are heavily subsidised. Simple turn up to your first session for free and then pay as you go there after. Sessions are £3 per person and are paid by card on arrival.

All sessions run term time only.
