Utilita Bowl welcomes a whole host of cricketing action every summer, including England internationals, Vitality Blast, The Hundred and more.
The 2024 summer of cricket at Utilita Bowl was one to remember, with Hampshire Cricket once again competing as one of the top teams across multiple formats. They secured an impressive second-place finish in Division One of the Vitality County Championship, advanced to the knock-out stages of the Metro Bank One Day Cup, and hosted numerous thrilling Vitality Blast T20 match-ups.
Southern Vipers capped off their final season as the ‘Vipers’ by reaching the semi-finals of both the Charlotte Edwards Cup and the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.
The Hundred continued to draw sell-out crowds to Utilita Bowl, with four double-header matchdays lighting up the ground. Southern Brave Men had a strong run in the competition, finishing as Runners-Up in 2024.
England’s national teams also made their mark, with two sold-out Vitality IT20s. England Women took on New Zealand, while England Men faced their Ashes rivals, Australia, in front of packed crowds.
Looking ahead to 2025, Utilita Bowl will host three highly anticipated international fixtures. England Men will face West Indies and South Africa, while England Women will welcome India, promising another thrilling summer of cricket.
