Hampshire Cricket – in partnership with Domino’s Pizza – are giving Hampshire fans the opportunity to have their say and pick the player who has impressed them the most each and every month this season.
Come the end of the 2022 season the player who has received the most votes from fans over the course of the season will be presented with the Fans’ Player of The Year Award at the Club’s End of Season Awards Dinner.
Each month every fan who casts a vote will be entered into a prize draw to win a large family deal – which includes two large pizzas, two personal pizzas and two sides – courtesy of Domino’s!

August's Player of The Month
August has been another positive month for Hampshire with the side securing a home knockout tie in the Royal London Cup.
Stand in captain Nick Gubbins’ young side have been in excellent form in the 50-over competition, winning six of their seven matches so far.
Hampshire started their Royal London Cup campaign with a solid 44-run win over Worcestershire at The Ageas Bowl.
Records were then broken in Beckenham as Hampshire notched their highest ever List A score, 396. Tom Prest (181) and Nick Gubbins (117) impressing in what became a 163-run win.
After two comfortable wins a string of close results followed, with an eleven-run win over Northamptonshire on the Isle of Wight and back-to-back two wicket wins at Derby against Lancashire at The Ageas Bowl, Toby Albert the star of both run chases.
Hampshire’s first and so-far only loss came against Glamorgan in Neath before beating Essex Eagles at The Ageas Bowl on Sunday 21st August confirmed Hampshire would host a home knock-out game in the competition.
Academy graduate Tom Prest has had a stellar month in 50-over cricket, including that magnificent 181 against Kent at Beckenham, Hampshire’s second highest individual List A score.
Prest has scored 347 runs at an average of just under 50 while also taking three catches in the competition so far.
21-year-old Scott Currie is Hampshire’s leading wicket taker in the competition with the all-rounder taking 15 wickets while also scoring over 100 important lower-order runs, with a top score of 46 not out.
Jack Campbell has been a revelation for Hampshire in this competition, his left-arm pace giving Nick Gubbins a different option with the ball. The Portsmouth native has taken 13 wickets at 20 with an economy rate of just 4.5.
Toby Albert, another academy graduate, has also had an outstanding campaign.
Coming in at number 7, Albert has 271 runs at 54 with a high score of 84 not out. The 20-year-old has contributed a number of crucial knocks this season, his 84* at Derby and 65* against Lancashire at The Ageas Bowl in particular.
John Turner has the best average out of all the Hampshire bowlers, 19.61. The right arm quick has been destructive during the middle overs. Turner has 13 scalps in the Royal London Cup so far, including a magnificent 5-25 against Lancashire.
Captain Nick Gubbins has led from the front with the bat and has taken his young side to the knockout stages of the competition.
The elegant left hander has 273 runs at 39, with one century and one fifty.

Voting closes at 11:59pm on Tuesday 31st August with the winner announced on Wednesday 1st September.
The lucky fan who wins the large family deal from Domino’s will also be notified on Wednesday 1st September, via email.
