As part of our ongoing community programme, we are thrilled to welcome a diverse group of supporters and organisations who are making a real difference both on and off the field on Sunday 21st September.

From mental health support to inclusive sports programmes, here are some of the inspiring groups who will be joining us on the day.

Adders

The Adders are part of the Super 1s initiative, giving young people with disabilities the chance to enjoy regular, competitive cricket while building confidence and independence. The Hampshire-branded Adders programme is dedicated specifically to women and girls aged 12 and upwards, helping open up the game to a new generation of players.

Havant & East Hants Mind

Havant and East Hants Mind are committed to promoting positive mental health and empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives within their communities. Covering South and East Hampshire, with some projects extending county-wide, HEH Mind delivers vital services, outreach, and support to ensure no one faces mental health challenges alone.

England Women VI Cricket

The Blind Cricket England & Wales women and girls’ programme welcomes visually impaired players of all ages and abilities from across the country. With regional training centres already established, the programme is now raising funds for an historic milestone - the first ever Women’s Visually Impaired Cricket World Cup, set to take place in India and Nepal this November. More details and opportunities to donate can be found at bcew.co.uk.

Indatwa Cricket Foundation

Founded in 2018 as a project under Cricket Without Boundaries, with support from the Hampshire Cricket Board, the Indatwa Cricket Foundation has a truly global impact. Its mission is to grow and sustain women and girls’ cricket by creating opportunities for players both in Hampshire and in Rwanda. This cross-cultural initiative highlights the power of cricket to unite communities across borders.

Lacuna Sports

Created by women, for women, Lacuna Sports is the first brand solely dedicated to designing cricket wear for girls and women. With a focus on fit, comfort, and performance, Lacuna’s innovative designs cater to a range of body types, preferences, and cultural needs — ensuring female players can focus on their game, not their kit. Their mission is simple: to remove barriers and give women the freedom to step onto the pitch with confidence.

Maiden Cricket

Maiden Cricket goes beyond sportswear. Their mission is to drive long-term change in the way women and girls are represented in cricket. With clothing and kit designed specifically for female players, they empower athletes to perform at their best while fostering a future where women are central to cricket’s continued growth.

The Women’s Metro Bank One Day Cup Final promises not only thrilling action on the field, but also the chance to celebrate the organisations working tirelessly to make cricket and our wider community more inclusive, supportive, and inspiring.

We look forward to welcoming each of these groups to Utilita Bowl and shining a spotlight on their incredible contributions to cricket.
