Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Abi Norgrove

Batter

Abigail Emma Molly Norgrove was born in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire on 17^th January 2006 and is a right handed batter and right arm off spin bowler.

She is a product of the Southern Vipers Academy and the Oxfordshire pathway, and made her senior Vipers debut, aged 17, against Sunrisers in a Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy match at Chelmsford in 2023.

She made eight runs on debut, but scored 48 against a Thunder bowling attack containing Tara Norris, Mahika Gaur, Fi Morris, and Naomi Dattani.

In March 2024, Norgrove was named in England Women’s U19s tour of Sri Lanka, where she played five matches in the tri-series against Australia and hosts Sri Lanka.

She scored 84 runs with a top score of 31, and was England’s second leading run scorer in the competition behind Central Sparks’ Davina Perrin.
