Paige Jamie Scholfield was born in Durban, South Africa on 19th December 1995 and is a right handed batter and right arm medium bowler.
Scholfield began her career at Sussex and made her debut against Middlesex in 2012 where she took 1-9 off three overs.
In 2013, Scholfield recorded her highest 50-over score with 48, also against Middlesex, in the Women’s County Championship, and she reached her maiden half-century in the 2014 T20 Cup where she scored 63* against Surrey.
She played for Loughborough Lightning from 2016-2017 in the KIA Super League whilst studying at Loughborough College, before moving back south and signing for the Southern Vipers in 2018, and was part of the team that reached the final of the KSL in 2019.
Scholfield played all seven matches in the inaugural Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, and took nine wickets at an average of 23.55.
She backed up her strong first RHFT with six wickets at 16.50 along with 93 runs at 31.00 in 2021, along with 68 runs in the Charlotte Edwards Cup.
Scholfield was signed by Southern Brave in the 2021 Hundred but didn’t play, and was retained by the Brave for the second season of the Hundred.
In July 2022, Scholfield took her best bowling figures for the Vipers, as she recorded 3-29 in 5.4 overs against South East Stars in Hove, before knocking off another career best of 74 off 72 balls against Sunrisers after coming into bat in the fifth over with the score on 25-3.
