Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist – Women’s Health

Nicola qualified in 2007 from the University of Southampton with an MSc in Physiotherapy, and has worked in both the NHS, and private practice. She has completed the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) matwork series and is a trained acupuncturist holding membership with the AACP since 2009. Nicola has been able to apply these skills within all aspects of her physiotherapy practice.

She specialised in Women’s Health after 11 years of working as a musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, developing her interest after having her children and realising the lack of support ante and postnatally for women. Nicola is a member of the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy group. She has completed the POGP Pelvic Health: female urinary dysfunction course and is constantly updating her skills by attending relevant courses such as the pre and postnatal exercises masterclass.

She currently works part time in the NHS and also teaches pilates.
