Hampshire Cricket Board are recruiting three new Non-Executive Directors to join the team
Hampshire Cricket Board (HCB) are recruiting 3 new Non-Executive Directors to join its diverse board. We would like to hear from individuals who can bring a range of attributes and experiences and are passionate about representing the interests of communities across Hampshire.
HCB are the governing body of recreational cricket in the county and are one of 39 County Cricket Boards/Foundations in the country. We are responsible for developing grassroots cricket and supporting local communities in Hampshire. We are a member’s organisation and work with our member cricket clubs and a range of partners, including Hampshire Cricket Company Ltd, Hampshire Cricket Foundation, Southern Premier Cricket League, Hampshire Cricket League and community organisations to provide a cricketing future for all.
Our Strategy
Our diverse range of activities are designed to provide playing and volunteering opportunities for men, women, boys, girls, and people with disabilities. We aim to achieve this by working towards four strategic outcomes:
Women and Girls - support all clubs to provide inspiring playing and volunteering opportunities for women and girls.
Schools and Junior Cricket - provide a cricket offer that is relevant to every primary school
Making Cricket Accessible - ensure under-represented groups have equal opportunities to play cricket
Clubs and Leagues - maximise the amount of cricket played through a variety of formats, flexibility and minimising administration
