Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Over 40's Women's Cricket

We are looking for women over 40 to play in a new hardball competition

Friday 29 March 2024

We are looking for women over 40 to play in a new hardball competition. There will be two opportunities this summer to play senior women's cricket.

3rd August - 2 festivals, one for anyone interested in playing hardball cricket or currently plays at club level, and one for those who have played at county level or above. Both festivals will be against teams from other counties.
17th August - 40 over match (Hampshire vs Wiltshire) for anyone who has represented Hampshire in the past.

Both opportunities will take place at King Edward VI School in Southampton.
