The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have today announced next summer’s Major Match schedule, which includes three England international matches allocated to the The Ageas Bowl.
The home of Hampshire Cricket will host the second Royal London One-Day International between England and South Africa on Saturday 27 May. The last times these two sides met in an ODI at the The Ageas Bowl, England were victorious thanks to an Ian Bell century in June 2012.
Wednesday 21 June is the date for the The Ageas Bowl’s second international match of 2017 – the opening NatWest International T20 match of the series between England and South Africa.
The Ageas Bowl’s international calendar then concludes with a day-night Royal London One-Day International between England and West Indies on Friday 29 September. The match is the fifth and final game of the series between the two teams.
