Hampshire Cricket are pleased to announce the loan signing of top-order batsman, Arun Harinath, who joins the Club from Surrey for the remainder of the 2019 season.
The left-hander arrives at the The Ageas Bowl to play Second XI cricket whilst also providing batting cover, following an injury to opener Joe Weatherley.
Harinath has featured in 75 first-class fixtures for Surrey since making his debut back in 2007, totalling 3,870 runs at an average of 30.96 with six centuries and 21 fifties to his name in that time.
He was also part of Surrey's Championship winning side in 2018, his last contest for the London-based side coming in August 2018.
The 32-year-old is set to be available for Hampshire Second XI’s Championship contest against Gloucestershire Second XI, starting on Tuesday (9th July).
