All-rounder Benny Howell has left Hampshire to join Nottinghamshire.
The 37-year-old has represented Hampshire 67 times across all formats but specialising in T20 cricket.
Born in Bordeaux, France, Howell began his career at Hampshire in 2010 but left the club ahead of the 2012 season where he forged a stellar career at Gloucestershire before re-joining the Hawks for the 2023 Vitality Blast.
He claimed 35 wickets in the Blast for Hampshire and scored 547 runs, with a memorable 62* against his former side Gloucestershire at Utilita Bowl to win the game off the final delivery.
A strong 2024 season saw Howell score 169 runs and take six wickets as he was named the men’s T20 Player of the Year.
