Match Preview: Hampshire Hawks v The Blaze & Middlesex, Vitality Blast Double Header
Hawks Men can guarantee a spot in the top two of the South Group, whilst Hawks Women require just one victory to reach Finals Day
New Viper signing Amelia Kerr set a ODI batting world record on Monday as she struck an unbeaten 232 against Ireland, before then claiming a superb 5-17 five-wicket haul in the third 50-over match of the series.
The 17-year-old, who joins the Vipers for the 2018 Kia Super League competition, beat the previous record of 229* for the highest individual ODI score held since before the all-rounder was born, as New Zealand posted 440-3 batting first.
The 145-ball knock included 31 fours and two sixes, with the second maximum from the final delivery of the innings taking her to the record.

After the success of the first two KSL seasons, all six teams, including the The Ageas Bowl-based Southern Vipers, will play each other home and away for the first time in 2018. Each team will play 10 matches rather than five in the battle to reach Finals Day, and the competition includes a total of 32 matches compared to last year’s 17, spanning 37 days from July 22 to August 27.
