The hard-hitting left-hander, who is currently featuring for Trent Rockets in The Hundred, will return to the squad for the crucial knockout stage clash on Wednesday 25th August.
With 307 runs to his name in 11 innings across this year's competition, Short has been instrumental to the side's success throughout the campaign so far and he will be a prominent feature within James Vince's side that makes the 139 mile trip in eight days' time.
