Freeston On An Exciting Year Ahead For Hampshire Academy

Hear what our Head of Player Development, Charlie Freeston, had to say ahead of a new season for the Hampshire Academy

Wednesday March 9 2022

Hampshire Academy will return to Southern Premier League action this summer, looking to build upon a solid performance last season.

We sat down with Hampshire Cricket’s Head of Player Development, Charlie Freeston, to talk about how the squad performed last year, their aims for the upcoming season and the benefits playing in the Southern Premier League provides Academy players.

Watch the full video below.

The best way to watch the Hampshire squad all season long in 2022 is with a Hampshire Cricket Membership.

2022 Members also receive access to an exclusive allocation of tickets for next summer’s otherwise sold-out Vitality IT20s at The Ageas Bowl with England facing both India and South Africa at the venue next summer, alongside a whole host of other exciting benefits.
