Hampshire Women travel to Taunton to face Somerset after going top of the table having won their previous fixture
Hampshire's All-Star XI - for Friday's charity match at Broadhalfpenny Down, Hambledon - has been confirmed with a 12-player squad announced for the celebratory match.
The Hampshire side - which boasts a whole host of famous faces as well as current Southern Vipers' stars Georgia Adams and Charlotte Taylor - will be led by Mark Nicholas.
Mark Nicholas' side will come up against a few familiar faces, with Chris Tremlett, Charlotte Edwards and Maia Bouchier all featuring in the All England XI. Broadhalfpenny Down is the home of the Hambledon Club, and the location of the inaugural First-Class match in June 1772 - between a Hampshire XI and an All England XI - and Friday's match is a celebration of the first-ever fixture's 250th anniversary.
The celebrations don't end on Friday, a second charity match will be hosted on Saturday (25th June) with a Southern Vipers XI facing a South East Stars XI.
Tickets for Friday’s match – which starts at 1:30pm – are still available and priced at £10 for Adults and Under 17s for free. All proceeds from the charity match go to support the work of the Broadhalfpenny Down Preservation Trust.
What's more, tickets for Friday also grant admission to Saturday's match (1:30pm start) with Under 17s again going free. Alternatively, standalone tickets for Saturday’s match are available for £5 by clicking here.
