Hampshire Duo To Play In Tri-Series v Pakistan And Sri Lanka

Hampshire pace bowler Sonny Baker and spin bowling all-rounder Liam Dawson have been named in England Men’s 16-player squad for their ODI tri-series against Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The tour will take place in Pakistan, with England’s first match on 18 October and the final taking place on 31 October.

Both Dawson and Baker were part of England’s 3-0 IT20 and 2-1 ODI series wins against Sri Lanka last month.

They both picked up six wickets – the joint most of any players – in the IT20s, and helped England to a mammoth 223-run victory over Sri Lanka in the final ODI of the summer at the Oval, a match England needed to win to claim the series victory.
