Hospitality Sales Executive

The Role

We are looking for a Hospitality Sales Executive to play a key role in managing hospitality client relationships and maintaining accurate guest information, while supporting the seamless delivery of memorable matchday experiences across domestic and international cricket. 

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing hospitality clients whilst proactively engaging with new guests across both corporate and private bookings.

• Build effective working relationships across internal teams and departments to ensure a coordinated and high-quality hospitality offering.

• Be proactive in confirming guest requirements ahead of their visits, including dietary needs, parking requirements, and any special requests, to ensure a seamless customer journey from booking to matchday. 

• Issue all relevant pre-event communications to guests, including menus, tickets, and a detailed itinerary, to ensure clarity and confidence ahead of arrival. 

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing booking information, ensuring all data aligns with ticketing systems.  

• Welcome and host guests on matchdays, serving as a key point of contact to manage queries and ensure a positive, memorable matchday experience.

• Conduct pre-matchday checks of hospitality areas to ensure all operational and service standards are met ahead of guest arrival.  

• Attend matchday briefings and provide clear, accurate information on hospitality usage, timings, and guest allocations to support coordinated event delivery.  

• Gather and record client feedback after each event to identify opportunities to enhance the hospitality experience and drive continuous improvement throughout the season.  

• Support the ongoing promotion of hospitality offerings by assisting with updates to sales brochures, website content and marketing materials, ensuring the product is presented professionally across all platforms. 

The opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Hampshire Cricket as Hospitality Sales Executive at a time of significant growth and opportunity for the Club. With a packed events calendar, an Ashes Test on the horizon, and expanding engagement across domestic and international fixtures, growing audiences and delivering a great fan experience within ticketing are core pillars of the Club's strategy.

This is a hands-on, customer service role which is focused on ensuring the highest standards of customer and client care at every stage of the guest journey. 

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am–5pm, with regular evening and weekend work during the season for matchdays and major events.

Location: Utilita Bowl, Botley Road, West End, Southampton, SO30 3XH.

Salary: Competitive and in line with market rates
