Southern Vipers travel to the scene of their 2023 Charlotte Edwards Cup trophy-winning victory with the team already qualified for Finals Day next Saturday.

At Utilita Bowl, a star-studded Vipers lineup – where all 11 players on show featured for some form of international side – defeated Northern Diamonds by five wickets, as Charlie Dean expertly took control of the chase after the Diamonds bowlers found themselves on top.

Central Sparks comfortably chased down 147 against Thunder at Edgbaston in their last fixture with unbeaten fifties from wicket keeping duo Amy Jones and Abbey Freeborn.

Southern Vipers Squad

Southern Vipers have named a 14-player squad for their clash against the Diamonds.

A full allocation of England players are available again, but Alice Monaghan misses out through injury.

Mary Taylor and Ella McCaughan will instead play for Sussex in the Women’s County T20 competition with matches against Kent and Surrey at the 1st Central County Ground in Hove.

Central Sparks

Like the Vipers, the Sparks are through to Finals Day on Saturday 22nd June and are level on points with the Vipers on 21, albeit with an inferior net run rate.

They are expected to have England’s Amy Jones available at the spearhead of their batting lineup, with the aforementioned Abbey Freeborn providing some power backed up by captain Eve Jones and the exciting teenager, Davina Perrin.

Tasmanian Courtney Webb provides their overseas support with both bat and ball, whilst Emily Arlott, Katie George, and Grace Potts are some of the most electrifying pace bowlers on the regional circuit.

Georgia Davis, who captained the Sparks in the absence of Eve Jones, and Hannah Baker provide the spin along with Charis Pavely.
