Hampshire Hawks take on Victoria in their final group match of the Global Super League
Hampshire Hawks v Lahore Qalandars
Global Super League
Saturday 30 November (2pm start UK/10am start local)
Guyana National Stadium, Providence
Hampshire Hawks began their Global Super League with a thrilling super over victory against Bangladesh’s Rangpur Riders on Wednesday night.
Shan Masood, on club debut, made a crucial 56 in the main event, with Liam Dawson and Danny Briggs starring with the ball in hand, before Dawson and James Fuller both hit sixes in the one over shootout to see the Hawks over the line.
They take on Lahore Qalandars in their second match, with the Pakistan Super League team wanting to bounce back from opening night defeat to Guyana Amazon Warriors.
Hampshire Hawks Squad
Hampshire Hawks have taken a 14-player squad to the Global Super League.
Danny Briggs and Shan Masood bolster an otherwise fully Hampshire-contracted squad, captained by the club’s leading T20 wicket taker, Chris Wood.

Captain: Carlos Brathwaite
The Qalandars are missing a few names this tournament, including Shaheen Shah Afridi, but remain a formidable side with star overseas players in Tabraiz Shamsi, Adam Rossington, Tom Abell, Luke Wells, and skipper Carlos Brathwaite.
They failed to get going in their opening clash against the host side, with Somerset’s Abell top scoring with 48 as they were bowled out in the final over for 125.
Left arm pace bowler Salman Mirza and slow left armer Asif Afridi starred with the ball as they took four wickets apiece, but a second defeat will almost certainly see them knocked out of contention for the final next Friday.
